Understanding Entry Statuses

What each entry status means and when entries move between statuses.

Every entry in Kompdesk has a status that tells you where it is in the competition lifecycle.

DRAFT → SUBMITTED
              ↘
        WITHDRAWN

Status	Meaning	Can Edit?
DRAFT	Entry saved but not yet submitted to the organiser	Yes, full editing
SUBMITTED	Entry locked in for the event	Limited, can edit routine name, music, notes
WITHDRAWN	Entry has been cancelled	No, cannot be reactivated

DRAFT entries are not visible to the organiser: make sure to submit them before the deadline
Once an entry is SUBMITTED, you cannot change the dancers, performance type, or section, only routine details like name, music, and notes
If you need to change the section or dancers on a submitted entry, delete it and create a new one (before the entries close date)
