Kompdesk has built-in offline mode that protects your scores when you lose internet connectivity. Your work is never lost.
How It Works
- You lose connection: the system detects the network drop and switches to offline mode
- You keep scoring: all scores are saved locally on your device
- Connection returns: scores are automatically synced to the server
- Confirmation: you see a notification when all queued scores have been submitted
What Gets Saved Offline
- All score submissions (criteria scores, comments)
- Battle votes
- Placement votes
- Skip/defer actions
What to Watch For
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Offline banner | You are currently disconnected. Scores are being saved locally |
| Queued scores count | Number of scores waiting to sync |
| Sync in progress | Scores are being uploaded to the server |
| All synced | Everything is up to date |
Tips
- Do not close the browser tab while scores are queued. They are stored in the browser and will be lost if you close the tab before syncing
- Do not clear browser data while offline. This would delete queued scores
- If you are in an area with poor connectivity, the system will retry automatically
- Offline mode works for all scoring types: regular scoring, battle voting, and placement voting
