Guardian consent links have a limited validity period. If your link is not working, here is what to do.
Common Errors
| Error | Meaning |
|---|---|
| "Invalid consent link" | The link is malformed or missing required information |
| "Consent request not found" | The consent request may have been deleted or the link is incorrect |
| "This consent link has expired" | The 7-day validity period has passed |
What to Do
- Check the link: make sure you are using the full URL from the email (sometimes email clients truncate long links)
- If expired: contact the event organiser or studio owner who initiated the consent request and ask them to send a new one
- If invalid: the link may have been used already or the consent request was cancelled. Contact the person who sent it.
Important Notes
- Consent links expire 7 days after they are sent
- Each consent link is unique to a specific dancer and event
- Once consent is given, it cannot be revoked through the link. Contact the organiser if you need to withdraw consent
- A new consent link must be generated by the person who initiated the request (usually the studio owner or organiser)
